Tech 27 a social enterprise for you!

We have been collecting sound and lighting equipment since the late 80's and using it for discos, shows, festivals and pantomimes at various schools, churches and village halls.

Over the past few years we decided that we could operate on a "give what you feel" basis. To be honest most of the charity events we get involved with end up FOC as the money is better spent by the cause than us.

We do have day jobs so mostly we work in the evenings or at weekends. We are with the gear at most events and work with youth tech teams to ensure they operate it safely. This takes me back to my younger years at youth club events where I first got started.

We are based in York and typically operate within 20miles of the centre.
